Management

MARC Real Estate was founded in 2009 by Ben Marciano, who spent over 35 years in the real estate industry. As President & Managing Partner, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of MARC’s business activities. Ben established a successful career in real estate investment banking and commercial lending, developing an expansive skill set that encompassed a wide range of complex structures and high-profile transactions. Ben ran Eurohypo AG U.S., a German financial institution, and created two start-up ventures, Caliper Real Estate Advisors LLC and KGS Real Estate Capital Markets LLC.

Ben J. Marciano

Before founding MARC Real Estate Group, Ben served as Managing Director and Head of Eurohypo AG U.S. where he was responsible for all the bank’s businesses in North America, generating over $45 billion in transactions. Prior to his 10 years at Eurohypo, Ben managed the REO Department for Barclays Bank, mandated to reposition and divest of a $3 billion distressed portfolio burdened with litigation, foreclosures and bankruptcies, and directly restructured over 60 complex asset management projects. Previously, Ben served as a Team Leader/Senior Lender and Lead Workout Officer in the Real Estate Finance Department at JPMorgan Chase, and as a Project Manager for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Ben earned his BBA at Iona University’s Hagan School of Business, graduated from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate, and completed JPMorgan Chase’s Credit Risk Management Program.
